Presenting Fran's bee-yoo-tiful hat. She handspun the yarn from a painted roving using the techniques from Lynne's Spinning for Entrelac and Intarsia workshop. Wow!
Wow!!! Fran, you're doing beautiful work. Can't wait to see your 9-patch!
Fran, that's gorgous!!! Is it all one yarn or several? Kudos!
Nice work! It gives me a lift on this gray fall day.
Thanks for all your kind words! It's all one skein. I used the dyeing techniques from Lynne's workshop, then spun it up and Navajo plied it to make a continuous variegated skein. The original pattern is from Elizabeth Zimmerman.
Please, please can you tell me where to find the pattern for that hat?? I'ts gorgeous. I love the how the top forms a star. I have searched the internet for 2 hours looking for a pattern, and can't find any that have the the top finished such as this one. Can someone email me some info? I took one of Lynne Vogel's entrelac classes, so I am familiar with entrelac, but would love to be able to make this hat. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org
